We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to manage, advise, deliver, develop and support data visualisation, analytics (descriptive, predictive and prescriptive), data quality, master data management and system integration for projects within a well-known Defence and Cyber company.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Identify, map and catalogue information sources and information owners
• Build ETL and other data integration solutions
• Apply data analysis techniques to create new business insights
• Manage the design, implementation and development of analytical solutions
• Develop, maintain and manage stakeholder relationships (both internal and external, including third party suppliers)
• Support stakeholders, end-users, data asset stewards, process owners, and other team members to scope and deliver decision support requirements for business change;
• Raise and progress requests for change where required
• Apply governance to all document and data sets, ensuring accuracy is maintained and changes tracked
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Undertake other tasks to support the team/department where required
• Comply with Company policies and procedures (including the Business Management System)

• Hands-on experience of MooD Software applications
• SQL query skills (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL)
• Visual Studio (e.g. ETL Packages, dtsx writing)
• Experience in engaging with and managing stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of data analysis methods
• Practitioner MS Office products
