Construction Site Supervisor
Use the construction management process to deliver construction works.
Follow the construction management strategy for MIP SRC.
Manage the day to day construction on the ground using the operating procedure.
Chair key construction meetings for example inductions and PLoD’s.
Attend appropriate in house training.
Champion safety culture and introduction of construction site rules.
Complete third party verification on site for discipline related installation works and produce evidence of inspections.
Complete site diaries and records of project progress.
Effective management of contractors and contracts for the construction phase of packages of works.
Accountable for Quality and Health and Safety on site.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Academic:
NVQ level 4, ONC, OND, HND or Degree qualified.
Nuclear:
Has a significant number of years delivering in a nuclear environment.
Experience:
Has managed contractors to safely execute site installation works. Has followed operating procedures. Has nuclear experience and general safety case understanding. Quality and Health and Safety focussed. Has a good awareness of CDM, construction practices and health and safety legislation. Can demonstrate effective stakeholder management and understands the importance of integrated team delivery. Has contract management experience and can effectively manage daily site works at the work front. Is able to communicate effectively with operatives and management.
