Electronics Design Engineer
Position – Electronics Design Engineer
Type – Contract
Rate – £35.00 per hour PAYE contract only
Hours – 38 hours per week
Location – Yeovil, Somerset, UK / Hybrid 2 days WFH
Industry – Aerospace / Aviation
Duration – Minimum 6 months +
To assist in the production test and failure investigations of various electronic controllers for aerospace applications
To design and develop control circuitry for a novel new technology project
To support the Yeovil Controllers design team ongoing projects
The successful applicant will:
• Be experienced in electronics fault finding to component level of microcontroller circuitry
• Be competent in analogue & digital design and controls theory.
o Monitor requirements
o Produce design and test documentation in support of development operations.
o Analyse and produce detailed electronic designs covering:
? Digital design
? FPGA design
? Embedded Software
? Serial data communications protocols
? Sensor interfaces
? Calibration algorithms
Rate of pay – £30 – £35 p/h PAYE
Hours – 8am – 5pm Mon – Thurs and 8am – 1pm on Friday but this can be flexible
Hybrid model – 3 days in the office & 2 days WFH
Length – initially for 6 months but there is the potential for this to be a longer term position
